The Schmetz Super Stretch Needle's special blade design helps prevent breakage, meaning it can be used on thicker fabrics than the standard Stretch Needle. Suited for use on highly elastic knits, especially if the fibre content includes Lycra®, Spandex, or elastic. The stretch needle has a medium ball point, smaller eye, and a deep scarf. The unique design of the scarf and eye prevents skipped stitches and the ball point tip helps to prevent thread damage and holes.
